MAC Wonder Woman

Hello lovelies!

I am so excited for the MAC Wonder Woman collaboration!
I know a lot of people are not really liking this collection but i am super excited about it :)

Here are my picks that I will be (hopefully!) purchasing when it arrives in the UK (March 2011):

Its worth noting that most products in this collection are super sized, compared to the regular versions, which may mean they are slightly more expensive than the regular version of the product, where applicable - to me it is worth it, although something to think about if you're on a budget:
Blue Make Up bag - this has a cute blue and white star print inside!
Also available in red

'Amazon Princess' Blush Duo - this a lovely magenta pink on one side (the larger side) and a berry shade with gold shimmer on the other!

Lipstick in 'Russian Red' - I know this is a permanent but I sort of collect the MAC collaboration lipsticks, so will be trying to get this one :)

(The other shade pictured is 'Spitfire', if you're interested)

Also, I may get this - I love the colours but the reviews have been mediocre, so will see:

Eyeshadow Quad in 'Lady Justice' - I may buy this purely for the name ha ha

What are your thoughts on this upcoming collection?

Will you be purchasing anything?

Sleek Molten Metal

Hi guys!

What do you think of this new release from Sleek?
Molten Metal Duo

Sleek say:

"Molten Metal is a highly pigmented metallic cream eyeshadow duo.
The palette consists of 2 gloriously rich and highly pigmented metallic creams that ignite the skin with intensity. The formulation is soft and fluid-like allowing easy application."

This looks very similar to the Illamasqua Liquid Metals, although for £6.99 for this little duo, they are a lot more purse friendly.

Its available here

I will be picking up the Molten Metals - what do you guys think?

Inside my make up bag...........

Hello,

Sorry for the lack of posts - have been so busy with work!
Today, I have some pics of my 'daily' make up bag (I have separate stuff for evening, going out, etc), as I always like a nosey post like this, so hopefully you will too!

(You can see my yellow leopard print dress in the mirror hehe)

Close up

Face Products

17 Face Perfecting Foundation
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Face Primer (bought from USA)
Hard Candy Concealer Palette (this is amazing although sadly from USA also)
Bourjois Pressed Powder

Left to Right - FCUK palette, Sleek 'Circus Palette' and Sleek 'Acid' Palette

Inside the FCUK palette - not my usual colours, as I got this as a gift although have tried some colours out and they are quite pigmented

Inside the Sleek Circus Palette - these are super pigmented and last well when used with a primer (I use Urban Decay Primer potion with these and they last all day)

Inside the Sleek Acid Palette - look how well used the white shade is lol

Eye Stuff

The black pot is magenta glitter from the brand Beauty UK, which is available at Superdrug
The gold pen is Topshop Makeup Eye Crayon in 'Sun Shower'
Benefit Bad Gal Eyeliner
Benefit Eye Bright
Collection 2000 Kohl Eye Pencil in Black
Urban Decay Pencils in:
Lust (purple)
Electric (turquoise)
Lucky (bronze)

The 2 small silvery coloured eye pencils are both Hard Candy glitter eyeliners, one in teal and one in purple, both came as part of a set

The tiny black pencil next to it is my eyebrow pencil, which is Barbara Daly @ Tesco Eyebrow Pencil in 'Dark' - I clearly need a new one haha

Another pic, showing the pink glitter pot colour

 Randoms

Benefit High Beam - I LOVE this!!
Hard Candy Walk the Line Liquid Eyeliner in 'Asphalt'
Topshop Makeup Cream Blush in 'Pinch'
Helix Pencil Sharpener (I use this as it has an option to sharpen slim and fat pencils)
Hard Candy Take Me Out Eye Liner Pencil in 'Ahi' - the is long lasting and the color is a fab lime

Another pic to show the Topshop Makeup packaging

Everyday MAC Stuff (I need to add my Venomous Villains stuff to this now!)

MAC Zoom Lash in Black
MAC Penultimate Eyeliner Rapid Black - this is like a felt tip pen
MAC Relects Glitter - this has a teal iredsecent sheen
MAC Amplified Cream Lipsticks in:

Morange
Neon Orange (PRO only)
Viva Glam Lady Gaga

I love the amplified cream finishes - they are my fave!

MAC Morange - this looks very similar to Neon Orange in these pics but in real life neon orange has a slightly redder hue and is brighter

MAC Neon Orange

MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga - this is a bright, bubblegum pink on me, although seems to look different every time on every person I have seen

If you need swatches, reviews or more info,  please ask.

I hope you have enjoyed looking in my makeup bag!

Illamasqua

Hello!
Lots of posts today, as I am feeling super motivated!

I came across Illamasqua about 6 months ago and, being a hardcore MAC fan, who is sometimes disappointed by their selection of more garish or bright colours, I loved this brand straight away.

I am particularly excited about their 2010 Autumn/Winter Collection named 'Art of Darkness'.

I love the asthetics behind this and feel that it has a slightly absinthe drinking, steampunk-esque Victorian vibe.

They have already released a sneak preview in the form of their new 'Precision Ink' eyeliner.
This currently comes in 2 shades - 'Alchemy', which is a highly pigmented gold and 'Abyss', which is classic black.

'Alchemy' is my favourite, so this will definitely be purchased by me and I will look forward to creating some new looks with it - I think it would look fab against a purple or royal blue eyeshadow <3

What are your thoughts on the new collection and what is your favourite Illamasqua product?
