How are you all?

I am super excited about this collection, due for UK release this December.

The collection is quite edgy (for MAC,anyway!), with some really nice pieces.

As you can see, its quite a comprehensive collection, with something for everyone - my faves are the nail polishes and I will definitely be trying to get these babies:

I LOVE duo-chrome polishes and these look fabulous!

The shades are (from left to right):

Inert : Creamy mid-tone greyed nude (crème)

Hyper : Deep blue with violet pearl (frost)

Ascension : Grey with blue violet reflective pearl (frost)

There are also some graphic false lashes, which I think are awesome:

Why I do not like January!

Hello!

Just a quick post today - have been suffering from terrible insomnia this week and just feel all 'urrrgghhh'!

I made the mistake of looking on the Office website and spied these babies:

In the sale, reduced to £35 from around £90 - AND they have my size, which never usually happens!

(They also come in black if you are a size 3!)

They are not my usual style but I totally adore them!

Oh, and the reason I do not like January is that I do not even have £35 to buy them - sob :(

Is there anything you are lusting after but cannot afford this month due to to rubbish January? haha

Why oh why can't I live in the US?

Hello lovelies!

I love visiting the US, especially when I find awesome products that I cannot get in the UK!

On a recent trip to the States I purchased a bottle of Dove 'Go Fresh' Body Mist in the 'Cool Essentials' scent at a local Walmart for around $5 and have become obsessed with this smell ever since - we have the Fresh range in the UK but it smells nothing like this at all - I literally have a third of a bottle left and now i'm panicking that I may never be able to get any more of this HG deodorant range.

Are there any lovely US bloggers out there who would be willing to pick some of this up for me (I will pay all costs obviously!) or maybe do some sort of swap?

Please let me know!

Winter Boots!

Hello!

With winter fast approaching, I have to put my heels aside for now and get some winter boots.

Here are my choices so far (all DM's!):

Same as above although more expensive!

Which do you guys prefer?

I haven't had a pair of DM's before - has anyone else had them and recommend them?

Any other recommendations (I need to have quite roomy boots, as my legs are not the slimmest!)

Make Up For Ever Moulin Rouge Collection for Autumn 2010

Hello - me again!

I have become interested in this range since I found out that they do a very similar purple lipstick to MAC Violetta, which is my fave lipstick of all time!

I am really liking their Moulin Rouge inspired collection - I would use it as general daywear, as I love brought, intense makeup, although for some, it is best saved for an evening out - either way, it is really glamorous and sparkly.

It is described as ' an exclusive collection inspired by the collaboration between Make Up For Ever and the Moulin Rouge dancers'.

New Candle Range from Lush!

Hello!

Hope you all had a good weekend :)

I love, love, love candles, so was very excited to see this new release from Lush.

Here are a few pics:

'Lust' Fragranced Candle, which is described as 'unadulterated, intense jasmine'.

'Orange Blossom' Fragranced Candle - 'the scent of a heavenly orange grove'.

'Tuca Tuca' Fragranced Candle - 'the scent of an intoxicating, playful crush'

'Vanilla Brulee' Fragranced Candle - 'the scent of a freshly baked dessert'

These are priced between £20 - £28 each, which I feel is quite high for a candle, so I don't know whether I will be purchasing these.

However, I don't know how big they are, so they may be huge and last for ages - if so, the price is more justifiable (at least to me, lol) 

Rather than using a traditional paraffin base, Lush have developed a vegetable base of coconut oil and rapeseed wax.

MAC Venomous Villians Collection

I'm sorry I have been a bad blogger - bad, bad Dolly!!

I am back now with some hopefully interesting posts!

Firstly, I admit I am a bit of a MAC addict, especially their lipsticks and love all things Disney so imagine my delight when I heard about the MAC and Disney collaboration!

Some of you may remember an old collection they did with Disney with characters such as Daisy Duck, which I also loved.

Anyway, on to some pics and some wantsssssss!

From the Maleficent Collection (my favourite one!):

Beauty Powder - 'Briar Rose', which is a soft pink shade with a hint of violet

From the same collection:

Violetta - a gorgeous vivid purple(this is also a pro colour, so permanently avaiable through MAC pro stores and is my fave shade of all time!)

Dark Deed - a burgundy plum colour

Again, from the same collection:

Mineralized Eyeshadow Duo's

'My Dark Magic', which is a deep pink and a deep plum, both with a pretty pearlized finish

'She Who Dares', which is a deep blue and a forest green, both with a pearlized finish

From the Evil Queen Collection:

'Toxic Tale' Lipstick, which is a gorgeous brigs coral

'Sinister' Lipstick, which is a plum shade with a hint of chocolate brown

From the Cruella De Vil Collection

'Heartless' Lipstick, which is a bright cherry red - yum!

'Innonence, Beware!' Lipstick, which is a pretty pink/nude shade

Now on to the oh so pretty nail varnishes, which I beleive are all part of the Malificent Collection and definately on my wish list!

'Bad Fairy' - red with a red multi tone pearl running through it

'Mean and Green' - purple, with a teal multi tone pearl running through is, kind of like a petrol, gasoline shade and I think this shade sums up Maleficent perfectly!

'Formidable Teal' - green with pink multi changing pearl running through it

And finally, I little pic to give you an idea of the packaging:

As far as I am aware, the images are printed on,rather than just a sticker being stuck on to the packaging.

I believe the release dates are as follows:

USA - end of September 2010

UK - start of October 2010

However, online stores may release early, so it may be worth checking the website or your local concession before this time!
