Hello again!

Hello again :)

I havent really been in to blogging as of late although have been working on a new project, which I am excited to now reveal :)

I started DOLLYgirl in 2010 and was busy creating orders although during a bout of long term illness, seemed to lose my way with it a bit.

However, I have decided that 2012 is going to be year to really pursue this, as I want to get my business started!

Anyways, to showcase this and to provide updates, I have created a new blog, which can be found here and I would really appreciate it if you could take a look and spread the word.

I will leave you with some images of what DOLLYgirl is all about - unique, handmade and fabulous........

How are you all?

I am super excited about this collection, due for UK release this December.

The collection is quite edgy (for MAC,anyway!), with some really nice pieces.

As you can see, its quite a comprehensive collection, with something for everyone - my faves are the nail polishes and I will definitely be trying to get these babies:

I LOVE duo-chrome polishes and these look fabulous!

The shades are (from left to right):

Inert : Creamy mid-tone greyed nude (crème)

Hyper : Deep blue with violet pearl (frost)

Ascension : Grey with blue violet reflective pearl (frost)

There are also some graphic false lashes, which I think are awesome:

Freak like me..............

Hello!

Hope you are all enjoying this glorious weather in October?!!!

Anyway, speaking of strange happenings, look what I found, just in time for Halloween - my fave time of year!

When I saw this I was delighted!!

Its the new fragrance by Illamasqua, aptly named 'Freak'.

I love the bottle design, with the little silver snail slithering up the side of the bottle but what about the fragrance?

They say.......

"Freak is a concoction of dangerously exotic unconventional flowers which Illamasqua has unashamedly blended together to celebrate the night…

The notes for the unisex fragrance feature black davana, opium flower, belladonna, poison hemlock, datura, queen of the night, frankincense, oud and myrrh"

Sounds intriguing and I really wanna try it!

This débuts this month and will be available in 75ml Eau de Parfum for £59

Barry M Instant Nail Effect Nail Foil Varnish

Hello my lovelies, 

I am so sorry for my long absence - I have been feeling very low and just not in the mood to blog but will try my best to get back to regular blogging :)

Anyways, when surfing the net I came across these beauties:

These look AWESOME - I will definately be picking these up to see how they fare against the ever popular 

MINX effect - I really hope that they do not disappoint!

Whilst the silver shade is my current fave, I am hoping that they will expand the colour selection as they have done with the cracking polishes.

Hiatus and Etsy Finds on Heartsy

Hello!

First of all, thanks to my new followers - I really appreciate it :)

Also, I just want to say sorry for my extremely long hiatus - I have had a few personal problems recently but i think I am back on track now, so hopefully will be back to blogging as usual!

On to the pretties!

I recently came across a site called Heartsy, which, each day (apart from weekends it seems) posts some really good deals from Etsy stores, for example, buy a $40 voucher for a particular seller for $10.

Using this, I came across this amazing seller on Etsy, which you can find here

The store is named The Little Fox and has some beautiful art prints, necklaces and paper goods - they are part whimsy, part story book, part slightly creepy/cute and I highly recommend checking her out!

I have ordered 3 necklaces so will be posting pics on these when they arrive.

Models Own & Wah Nails - Smash Up Polish Release!

Hello lovelies!

Now, I am a massive fan of the Barry M Instant Nail effects 'shatter' polish, so was super excited to see a similar release from another 'high street' brand:

This is Model's Own up coming collaboration with Wah Nails, aptly named 'Smash Up', which seems to give the same effect as the Barry M one but with a lot more colour choice.

Excited, non?!

These will be available exclusively in Boots from April 20th (black and silver only) and there will be a full launch on the Models Own site sometime in April, so watch out for that.

The silver may be a dupe for OPI's upcoming silver shatter polish, as part of their Pirates of the Caribbean range.

The price will be £6, which I think is quite affordable (not for me though, as I will be buying all of them haha)
